You guys, this post was pure torture! Seriously. You know why?! Because all the CUTE! How could I possibly narrow down the photos?! All the different expressions, the rolls, the falling over, the animal buddies, omg!! I just can't handle it. Also, Westley has a very special place in my heart having done his birth photos and now all his first year milestones. It's such a joy and a treat to watch him grow over the year - how is it flying by so fast?! Again, another reason why I am in love with the Baby's First Year Collection. Kaedence | Newborn Photos | Studio Photography in Spokane

And baby makes 7! You heard me, seven. And sweet baby Kaedence is absolutely the apple of everyone's eye (for proof see the very last photo which was completely unplanned). I'm so thankful to have photographed Amber and Josiah's maternity session here, and then got to meet their adorable new addition, as well as the rest of their family, for her newborn photos. Everyone was such troopers as I maneuvered all around in my studio room. Meanwhile, I could photograph a sleeping baby's teeny tiny toes all day long! Can't wait to see this love again for six month photos (again, yay Baby's First Year Collection!)

Baby Cora's Newborn Photos | Baby Collection | Spokane

You may remember the Hemmer family's cute fall Manito Park maternity session here. Well baby Cora was born not too long after that actually! They had a bit of a whirlwind beginning, bringing home their newborn, then displaced for over a week with no power, than finally back home, then stricken with the stomach flu. And yet so patient and kind and gracious through it all. That is why you make great parents, Matt and Casey. You will weather all storms together. Thank you for being patient and flexible with me through the power outage, thank you for still making Cora's newborn photos a priority, and thank you for allowing me to join you in Cora's first year. 

Lucia | 9 months old | Spokane

Lucia and Teagan! Oh my girlies. I love photographing these girls throughout the year and capturing their growth and change. Here are past shoots - fall family (Lucia was so new!), Lucia's newborn photos. Aside from being incredibly adorable, they're just so darn sweet and funny. Teagan always has me laughing. :) This time they even got to hang around and play for a while becoming instant friends with Marlow. Love it! Already looking forward to fall photos! Westley | Newborn Photos | Spokane

This session is a first. This was the first time I shot in my home. My spare room turned in-home studio. I've decided it's perfect. The light is amazing and has yet to do me wrong! Can't wait to show you more families using this in-home setup. :)

In the meantime, here is sweet mister Westley's newborn photos. You may remember his birth photos here and maternity session here. I am beyond thankful to these three - their friendship, their love for each other and family. Westley is a sweet, sweet boy who will always be surrounded in love. These photos were taken of him only 10 days news. I can't wait to photograph his milestones in his first year (yay Baby Collection package!). Enjoy some snuggly wuggly newborn photos today!

P.S. I had to include the photo of his mom brushing his hair, not only because his hair is so cute, but because that is what calmed him down and lulled him back to sleep! lol So cute.
