Owen's Newborn Photos | Tri-Cities Newborn Photography

Meet sweet baby Owen. And his adoring family. Sometimes in life we just win the friend lottery, and such it is with the Maiers. I love these five and am thankful for them keeping it real as parents and friends. Three kids, one crazy vizsla, and big hearts for everyone. These photos are a perfect example of why I love doing lifestyle newborn photos in people's homes. The real moments here are precious. They are the details they will remember. Big brother and sister poking and prodding at brother. Mom getting clobbered by kids while trying to have a quiet moment. Everyone piled into bed together. Big laughs. Snacks. Sweet babies who grow too fast.

Andrew | Newborn Photos | Seattle, WA

Introducing the sweet, bright-eyed Andrew! His just-as-sweet parents, Nicole and Raymond, hosted me in their Seattle home for Andrew's newborn session. I absolutely love being with families in those first days. Everything new. Completely in awe. We were lucky to have a combo of great light in a partly cloudy Seattle day, some awake time, some sleepy time, and some great family cuddles. A couple of my favorite photos are actually Raymond bouncing Andrew around the house (in the kitchen) to soothe him and one of Nicole holding her sleeping son, petting her cat, and looking lovingly into the eyes of her husband. These are the beautiful in between moments that make a family. Wishing the Loyolas a beautiful first year of life with Andrew, and a happy forever.

Kaedence | Newborn Photos | Studio Photography in Spokane

And baby makes 7! You heard me, seven. And sweet baby Kaedence is absolutely the apple of everyone's eye (for proof see the very last photo which was completely unplanned). I'm so thankful to have photographed Amber and Josiah's maternity session here, and then got to meet their adorable new addition, as well as the rest of their family, for her newborn photos. Everyone was such troopers as I maneuvered all around in my studio room. Meanwhile, I could photograph a sleeping baby's teeny tiny toes all day long! Can't wait to see this love again for six month photos (again, yay Baby's First Year Collection!)

Camila | Newborn Photography | Spokane

Welcoming baby Camila! I just loved this beautiful home lifestyle newborn session - baby Camila wide eyed and alert and then dozing off to sleep as we went along, big brother running in and out sometimes as himself and sometimes as a pirate, the game on in the background, a house full of love and adoring looks for the new baby. Just sweet and simple. I'm so excited to photograph Camila throughout her first year (Baby Collection)! Enjoy.

Welcoming baby Charley | Newborn Photos | Richland WA

My adventure into photography has brought me so many things that I am beyond grateful for. Not the least of which is reconnecting with old friends. I have been so fortunate to be called back into people's lives during incredibly special and sacred times. Sarah and I grew up together in our small hometown. We both have farming roots and love it. Sarah was probably the biggest influence in my decision to attend Gonzaga for undergrad. I'm so thankful for her guidance at that time in my life. And now I had the opportunity to photograph her third baby girl, Charley. I can't even tell you. Sarah and Mitch, you are brave, adventurous, patient, loving people. I love your girls and your family. Sarah I just love seeing you as a mom. And I love the way you two totally connect with loving and adoring eyes at each other amongst it all. I'm so happy for you, and I cannot wait for great things ahead in your future. Thank you so much again for the opportunity to reconnect so many years later. XO Everyone, enjoy little miss Charley and her adoring big sisters, Claire & Lauren (the last photo is my favorite of the 3).

Bennett | Newborn Photos | Spokane

Meet baby Bennett and his family. I love the way Sam and Lurel adore their kids. You can see it in their eyes, in their patience, in their smiles, in their ability to go slow and roll with it all. I love that they are excited about big families. We found each other through Facebook and referrals, which really is the heart of my business, but we clicked instantly. I am so lucky. This newborn lifestyle photo shoot took place at my in-home studio. It worked out great to have space for sister to run around, nursing breaks, changes, etc.

Lurel and Sam - congratulations again!
