I just adore these little ladies. So excited to share miss Parker's one year photos! Her spunk, her determination, even her cute little serious scowl face. haha But my favorites are all her cuddles - with her big sis (melt!) and mom and dad. She's the finishing piece to this family of four and it's such a joy to watch her grow. She is an example of when good things finally come about to a good family and doubles the size of her mama's and dada's hearts. <3

Camilla | 6 Month Photos | Baby's First Year | Spokane

You're just not ready. Really. You're just now. To narrow down this blog post was about impossible. I could post Camilla's entire session because I just CANNOT get over it. I could photograph this smiley girl all day! I absolutely love the six month mark before they start burning down their baby rolls, before crawling, when they just smile at anything. It's such a joy to see my families and babies grow in their first year. The Baby's First Year Collection has been such a blessing for developing relationships with such amazing families. See you for your one year, Camilla!

Motherhood, parenting, family life - it's all complex and beautiful and nuanced. And it takes a village, this I know for true. But not just to raise our children, but to keep each other happy and sane and no alone. Enter my dear friends, the Maiers. I am beyond thankful for the mother heart of my friend Stephanie and the determined and generous spirit of Mike. Steph is honest and vulnerable, which allows the rest of us to let our hair down and get real about the take out, compression socks, booger noses, and so on. As Mike and Stephanie welcome baby number three, their circle of family and friends is holding them up in love and support. As you can tell, Paige and Carter are SO EXCITED about baby brother. It's crazy to think that we all get to dote on this new little being within the coming days. Thank you, friends, for making the trek to Spokane to bless me with the opportunity to photograph you!

Westley's 6 Month Photos | Spokane

You guys, this post was pure torture! Seriously. You know why?! Because all the CUTE! How could I possibly narrow down the photos?! All the different expressions, the rolls, the falling over, the animal buddies, omg!! I just can't handle it. Also, Westley has a very special place in my heart having done his birth photos and now all his first year milestones. It's such a joy and a treat to watch him grow over the year - how is it flying by so fast?! Again, another reason why I am in love with the Baby's First Year Collection. Baby Cora's Newborn Photos | Baby Collection | Spokane

You may remember the Hemmer family's cute fall Manito Park maternity session here. Well baby Cora was born not too long after that actually! They had a bit of a whirlwind beginning, bringing home their newborn, then displaced for over a week with no power, than finally back home, then stricken with the stomach flu. And yet so patient and kind and gracious through it all. That is why you make great parents, Matt and Casey. You will weather all storms together. Thank you for being patient and flexible with me through the power outage, thank you for still making Cora's newborn photos a priority, and thank you for allowing me to join you in Cora's first year.

Here are her maternity (remember those awesome cherry tree blossoms) and newborn photos and today her 6 MONTH PHOTOS! Growing so fast and furious, this little one will be chasing down big sister in no time.
