Connell Family | Fall Mini Barn Mini Session | Green Bluff

To say that I'm obsessed with this little hidden gem of a location from the Fall Mini Sessions is an understatement. I actually am not featuring the mini barn in this entry, but all the glorious nature surrounding it. The changing colors, the trees, and this incredibly cute family - the Connells. I'm so in love with how sweet Hannah and Jack were with each other. I mean just adoring and cuddly - unreal. I love James's face when he kids tackle him with kisses. Connell family, so happy to have spend this beautiful moment with you last fall - getting excited for more mini session days this year! If you want to be notified of upcoming Mini Sessions days in 2016, get on my email list here.

Kling Family | Snow Day Mini Session | Hamblen Park, South Hill Spokane

I'm sohappy I decided to offer Snow Day Mini Sessions during the month of January! I mean the light, the fluffy white snow, the excitement - just a perfect snowy Spokane day. :) I could not be happier. The boys were total troopers in this 9 degree weather! We worked fast and shot this entire mini session in about 20 minutes in Hamblen Park. I love that this nature preserve park provides so much untouched beauty right in the middle our South Hill neighborhood. The snow is starting to melt but it still covers the ground in outlying fields and open areas like this - message me if you want to shoot a mini snow session. For now, enjoy the adorable Kling family!

Timm & Victoria's Wedding | Ohme Gardens | Wenatchee

I said yes. Okay so really Timm and Victoria said yes and it was awesome. But, also I said yes to stepping waaay out of my box and into the 113 degree heat (thanks heat wave) and had a blast photographing Timm and Victoria's beautiful wedding.

They chose Ohme Gardens in Wenatchee for their venue and it was just a dream. Full of nature, ponds, towering trees, butterflies flying everywhere. Oh was I thankful for the shade those trees provided us all on such a hot day.

What I remember most about this wedding was the way Timm looked at Victoria. Just so tender and attentive, so sweet, the biggest of grins you've ever seen. There's no in between smile for this guy. I will remember how it was a complete family affair - everyone chipping in to help and support the newlyweds. And the speeches. There were several, but each so heartfelt and with glowing words about Timm and Victoria.

My dears, you are destined for a life of love and adventure. Thank you for letting me be part of this day.

Good grief this dress on you Tori!

Her something blue was a special family heirloom necklace.

Need to tie a tie for your brother on his wedding day? There's an app for that.

I spy another something blue.

All I said was Timm watch Victoria. Always look at her this way, my man.

Thank you Ohme Gardens for this awesome reflection surprise.

I love this series seeing Timm be so nervous, to seeing his bride, and then again with the huge grin! Also, how sweet is his mom looking back to see how he's doing.

End of aisle kiss for the win.

The intensity of the bouquet toss is palpable.

MOH, this one's for you dear. You hung in there so long despite the heat exhaustion!

It's your wedding day, so three shoe changes is completely acceptable.

Northrop Family | Outdoor Family Photos | Spokane

In looove with this new location — thanks to Kayla for finding it! My dear friend Kayla and I did a photographer family session swap, and it turned out great (see our photos on her fb page)! You guys, two families, 30 minutes, in and out. It was cold! Kayla and I met 3 years ago and almost 3 babies ago between us now. I'm so thankful for our chance meeting and unexpected friendship and photoging. Kayla is the heart of a good mom pal and embodies community over competition.
Enjoy their fall family photos - Andrew, Emerson, Kayla, and baby sister to be! The colors were perrrfect for this location! Emerson, you cutie patootie, can't wait to see you with your baby sister this spring! <3

Baby Cora's Newborn Photos | Baby Collection | Spokane

You may remember the Hemmer family's cute fall Manito Park maternity session here. Well baby Cora was born not too long after that actually! They had a bit of a whirlwind beginning, bringing home their newborn, then displaced for over a week with no power, than finally back home, then stricken with the stomach flu. And yet so patient and kind and gracious through it all. That is why you make great parents, Matt and Casey. You will weather all storms together. Thank you for being patient and flexible with me through the power outage, thank you for still making Cora's newborn photos a priority, and thank you for allowing me to join you in Cora's first year.
