Birth Story of Caleb | Birth Photography | Spokane

I love that each family's journey of coming together is incredibly unique. Here is the photographed birth story of Caleb. This cute little one was a test of patience for his family. :) Christine and Bryan waited and prayed and pushed and turned, just about all they could do. After a very long day of labor, he was brought into this world just before the sunset. They were all so brave and so strong! The room was full of joy as soon as he was here! His sweet big sister was just precious noting that she was here to protect her little brother now. Melt my heart. Congratulations to Christine and Bryan on your beautiful baby boy!

Birth Story of Westley | Spokane Birth Photography

So happy to share with you the birth story of little mister Westley. I could not say enough about how much I love this family and the entire birth experience they shared with me. To have a couple trust me to be in their birth space is a pretty incredible thing. How am I so lucky?! The evening was perfect. Sarah was amazing and fought through to deliver an amazing little boy. In between contractions she was asking questions and making sure everyone else was taken care of. Such a giving soul. Jake's expressions were priceless. His excitement was palpable; his adoration of his wife and son was endearing. He was able to catch his son and present him up to Sarah. What an incredible moment!

After Westley entered this world at 7:03 pm, he was welcomed by extended family. Talk about love. The squeals, the tears, the hugs, everyone was instantly in love. We joke that I will be taking Westley's senior pictures someday, and I truly hope that happens. Excited to spend this year documenting this sweet boy and his family.

Keenan / Dragoo Family | Spring Mini Session Day | Lincoln Park

Lovely family, beautiful inside and out, adorable babies, perfect weather. Could I ask for more?! I'm so thankful my dear friend Jenny called me to put together a shoot on mini session day for her family. With everyone living in different cities, this was pretty amazing kismet. Also, I'm kind of obsessed with how cute these toddler cousins are together! Life long buds I'm sure. muah!

25/52 Big cheeses

This little girl turned 2 1/2 this last week. She's cheeky and funny. Clever. Independent. A jokester. She loves singing especially Twinkle Twinkle Traffic Light (look it up) and Bidi Bidi bom bom (yes, Selena). She loves soccer tots and swim lessons and camping and feeding chickens, picking berries, doing "tricks", watching Daniel Tiger endlessly along with singing every single song on the show. At night she likes talking about "animals and friends." She loves all her family members and always mentions how she misses them. She always asks for noodles and okasu. She says funny things like, "Hey, be nice to me." and "Should I be shy?" and "Hey mom/dad, watch this cool trick!" or two weeks after our fish died, "Hey! Where's fish?!" Marlow he is in the ocean with his friends. "I want him to come home RIGHT NOW." And things that make us melt like, "Mommy, can you snuggle me?" or "um um my dad and my mommy are my HAPPY!" OMG Mar you are our happy, too.

Garcia Family | Spring Mini Session | Hamblen Park Spokane

I love how life is funny and the world is small. Tracy and I played softball against each other in high school. Then we met at Gonzaga. Then several years passed by and we found ourselves back here once again. Now we run into each other at Starbucks. From students pulling all nighters to now sleep-deprived moms savoring our daily fuel. :P I got to take family photos of her and her high school sweetheart and their two energetic, adorable boys at Hamblen Park. Life is chaotic and sweet and random and I love it! Happy to always reunite with you Tracy and David! Go Zags.

O'Doherty Family | Spring Mini Session | Spokane

This, my friends, is the ultimate efficient use of a mini session! We got a large family group photo, individual family photos, cousin photos, grandparents, and ALMOST a grandparents and grandkids photo - oh that one will be a classic forever! LOL Check it out below. Anyway, all this in about 30 minutes! Such an incredibly sweet, fun-loving family. I absolutely loved shooting family photos at Lincoln Park with the O'Doherty family. Can't wait to see you all again!
