That one time I did pre-prom photos! These two have some pretty fierce moms to think to ditch the boring old prom photos and do something fun! I love that they incorporated the family's classic car. So hot. Here's a little prom take on Manito park!
Olive and Marshall bringing the adorable! Seriously. These family photos were taken at Hamblen Park (nature preserve) that is one block from my house. Every year the yellow wildflowers fill the park and it feels like pure magic! I was SOOO happy to shoot here. Wouldn't you know, two days later all the flowers were gone! Little Olive walking through these trails and flowers was just perfect. Lyndsay and Gordon, thank you so much for bringing your cute family out for some evening photos!
Remember the Scheele family from that gorgeous sunset maternity shoot at Liberty Lake?! Well I am so excited to debut the little mister who has made them a family of four! Cal at six days new. Absolutely perfect and cuddly and sweet. I think his older sister, sweet Quinn, is the most enamored with him—look at all those kisses! :) I am so, so thankful to families like Katie and Ben's who allow me into their home at such a sacred, special time. Being in a family's home in the first week they've brought home their new baby is such a privilege and a joy. It always leaves me with such a feeling of hope and happiness and warmth. I'm so glad we captured this special moment in time for you, Scheele family. So excited to see this crew grow over the years!
This little nuggeteer is just more than words can contain these days. She's pure joy. She's been adding to her comedic routine by initiating a wild, fake laugh that instantly has us in an uproar and all laughing genuine belly laughs. Sometimes she uses this tactic to get out of being in trouble. She's full of mischief and big, expressive love. She's mastered bedtime stalling. She knows how to work a deal for yogurt drops or five more minutes of Daniel Tiger. She can go from making us crazy to saying things like "I"m so happy you're here." or "I'm so proud of you mama!" and bam you're an instant pile of mush. She's become a real backyard adventurer running around barefoot and laying in the grass staring at the sky in between feeding chickens and squashing ants. We constantly look at her and marvel. Love you cheeky.

I'm in love with your child-like spirit! I feel like the child versions of ourselves are totally mischievous kindred spirits.
And this one because when we met, it was crazy. I would live our falling in love story over and over again. And also, hey we were skinnier and rested and without many cares in the world for about one minute. ;)
I love what great efforts you went through to pursue me and ask me to be your wife. I'll enjoy telling that story our whole lives. (you are such a baby in this photo)
I look forward to so many more future trips with you - small road trips to big moves and adventures. I love how you are fearless and spontaneous and love being outdoors.

Meet Jake and Sarah...and Westley (notice the nod to his namesake book - The Princess Bride). :) These three hold a special place in my heart as I will be with them from maternity photos, birth photos and all through Westley's first year! It's going to be an amazing journey to be part of and this is only the beginning! This is a couple who truly knows the meaning of building a family. Sarah gave the best compliment she could possibly give me when she posted this to instagram:

Jake and I hate getting our pictures taken and they rarely turn out good, but she did an amazing job!
