10/52 Lookin' for Cows

We've spent the last three weekends making trips to see grandparents and attend weddings and the good ol' crab feed (see pic of that on my insta). We're pretty worn out and happy to be home this week, but looking back on photos like this one bring back memories of the little moments we've enjoyed and rushed to and from in the last weeks.

Here's Mar looking for cows with papa.

Badten Reception | Waterville

Well here's something you don't see on my blog every day - a WEDDING reception! I am so thankful that our friends Tyler and Taerrah asked me to photograph their formals and reception. T&T had a beautiful wedding in Mexico the week before, then came back to get the party started in Waterville.

About that (dare I say vintage) grain elevator. I've passed by this building 100 times in Waterville (which is FULL of sweet gems like this) and thought about what a great back drop it would make. It was pretty awesome to have chilly, but great weather in February so we could use it! I love it so much; we might take some of our own family photos there sometime. :)

Tyler and Taerrah, we are so happy for you! Taerrah, what a gorgeous bride you make. Thank you for choosing me; thank you for being our friends; thank you for dancing with Marlow and letting her pet your dress; thank you for a great night. We wish you a very happy and blessed future as Mr. and Mrs.

9/52 Dancin'

My Marlow is kind of a dancin' fool if you didn't know. She shakes it off, thinks it's no big deal, and is all about that bass. See what I did there? This week she went to a wedding. And danced. And danced. And danced. And made funny faces with her new friend. It was the first time she's attended a wedding where she wasn't already in bed by time the music started. It was awesome.  (More pics from this wedding coming tomorrow.)

8/52 "Shnuggles"

This about sums up our week. Lots of snuggles and movies in bed while getting over a yucky cold bug. I'll admit it was nice to be forced into some one on one time while the rest of the world goes on being busy. A brief, momentary pause. Thankful for this little girl who lights up our lives. Thankful for her resilience and health.

7/52 Sweet Valentines

Sometimes on Valentine's Day you just have to hang out with your best pal and make sugar cookies or "cakes" if you're Marlow. One little lady decorates meticulously, the other licks frosting and sprinkles. This was gal-entines ya'll.

I have to say these are the days I dream about. These are those days. Messy, exhausting, full of giggles.

Making a commitment to document life one week at a time, every week of 2015. These black and white family lifestyle photos were taken in my kitchen and dining room at home in Spokane with two adorable kiddos.

6/52 Aunt Ton!

This last week we were SO lucky that my sister was able to make a quick trip to Spokane to see us! She came from New York to Seattle to Spokane then back to Seattle and back to New York again. She made Marlow's day and ours. Having her live across the country is tough, but it sure makes these visits all the more special. After she left, Marlow woke up from her nap and said, "I miss Aunt Ton." Me too, Bub! Thank goodness for FaceTime!

Photos taken in about 30 seconds as we walked out the door at 7:30 in the morning on our way to the airport. :) Love our early morning backyard fog - yum.
